Vintage Guitar Review of The Eternal Contradiction

Save to
del.icio.us

I know it's not so cool to toot your own horn, but I just got such a wonderful review of my Eternal Contradiction CD that I am putting it up everywhere.   I'm like the little old jewish man who goes into a confession booth at a catholic church and begins to describe the previous evening to the priest.

"I'm 80 years old and this amazingly young and beautiful woman made love to me last night until I passed out from sheer ecstasy.  She did things to me I didn't even know could be done.   It was incredible."

"So did you want forgiveness, my son?"  asked the priest.

"Forgiveness? no Father, I'm jewish."

"Jewish?  Well then, why are you telling me?"

"Father, I'm telling EVERYBODY"

So in like fashion here's the tear sheet from the February 2008 issue of Vinage Guitar Magazine (www.vintageguitar.com)vntg%20gtr%20rview%20ec.jpg

James Lee—-Yes, that’s a wonderful (and well-deserved) review. The CD is great and I listen to it often. I’ve turned several people on to JLS and your website. Keep up the great work and we’ll see you and John at Boulevard Music on Feb 9th. My son and I are playing to attend---I’ll see who else we can round up.

On a sad note, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Dan Fogelberg yesterday. He has always been one of my very favorite artists and a major influence on me musically. I was fortunate enough to catch a few of his live show. I know he touched many people’s lives and although he’ll be greatly missed, he will never be forgotten.

Have a safe and happy Holiday.

max, thanks for the post and the kind words. we'll see you at boulevard music. and yes, the passing of dan fogelberg was a shock to me. he seemed so alive and so gifted. i remember when my first cd came out and i was so proud. about an hour later, fogelberg's first cd came out, home free i think it was called. i put it on and it sounded so fantastic to me, i thought i should just pack up and go home. he started out so complete. he will be missed.
