Are We Merely Toys of God?
Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 08:49AM Yesterday afternoon I stepped out on to my porch, turned, locked the door, walked down the walk way to the drive way, took the cover off my car, unlocked the car, got in, started it up and all the while not one single car passed by my house.
I put the car in reverse and started to back out of the driveway and a car came out of nowhere. I hit the brakes as the car went past my driveway. I then proceeded out into the street.

I was going to vote. It’s only about eight blocks away and I was taking a break from mixing Backstage at the Resurrection, so I didn’t want to be gone long. Otherwise I would have walked.
After voting I drove eight blocks back down my street to my home without seeing another approaching vehicle.
At the moment I got adjacent to my driveway, I had to wait while one lone car, whose timing was perfect, came around the corner and was suddenly crossing my path, just at the moment I had planned to pull into the driveway. Not a big deal, but…
This happens all the time.
No matter how fast I go or how slow; how long I wait or how rushed I do it, a car shows up just as I am about to go and I must wait for it. And there is no car until the moment that I try to move, THEN it shows up.
My wife maintains that I am manifesting this phenomenon while I maintain that I am merely observing it.
Do we create our reality or just observe it? Are we in charge of our lives or merely toys of God.
If we are, in fact, toys of God, I’d like to suggest to him/her/it that they get a new hobby.
Surely there are much more important things to do with omnipotence than harassing musicians?
So I put it to you…am I making this happen? Does this sort of thing happen to you…or am I just slipping my gears here?

Well...not to quarrel with the lovely Mrs. S but...
if you are manifesting this, so am I, because it happens literally every time I start to back out of the driveway. No matter what hour of the day or night, as soon as I take the break off here they come around the bend.
I'm glad I'm not alone! <G>
Don't feel so down. I guess you only need more practice in driving and you would get used to it.
