Having spent the entire morning, and I mean four and a half hours just trying to get things working at facebook, airplay direct, etc, I have come to the decision that it is a better use of your time to practice, sleep, book yourself, write songs, listen to inspiring music or lie in the grass than it is to try and make all this cyber crap work.
I believe that you have to hire someone who knows what they are doing; someone who has already gone thru the Gordian knot/mobius strip that is the instructions at these sites.
I started an All Wood and Doors site on Facebook four days ago. I’m still trying to get it to invite friends. There is a tab entitled invite friends, but when I click on it, I get a busy bee for about twenty minutes followed by a prompt telling me that it isn’t working right now but will be momentarily.
I click on the import email addresses and it tells me that it doesn’t support G Mail.
I feel as though I have simply been trying to move ahead while an enormous S.O.B. has his gnarly hand over my face and is pushing me back.
When you feel this kind of frustration and rage, I recommend shutting down the whole cyber crap routine and going to the gym. Push heavy things around until you cannot do it anymore.
Then take a very hot shower, scrub the caca off your psyche and then play your instrument, or ply your artistic craft whatever it is.
Then when you are sufficiently soothed by what really matters, you can pick up the mantle and go out in the world or the cyber world in the hopes of getting someone to not only notice what you do, but support your efforts to do it.
Some days you just don’t want to get out of bed.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend
